Haiku

Haiku, the terse prose writers perfect form of poetry....17 syllables in 5, 7, 5 formation.

Here are some of mine

1.

Red Wine glows inside

Warm satisfaction descends

As laughter rises.

2.

In pastel blue skies

A thin cloud crosses the moon

Diana's arrow.

3.

Powerless: No Strength

Powerless: No Voice, No Hope

Powerless: No Spark.

4.

Soft marshmallows melt

Sweet sensations on my tongue

Pink ones, white ones, yum.

5.
Cold sparkling pavement

Clear cloudless sky above

Stars twinkling. Moonlight.

6.
Words are fragile things
Twisted by other voices
Their meanings obscured.

7.
Pink Cherry Blossom
Twigs bent by fragile beauty
Fall as gentle rain

Just for starters

Aah, Breakfast blogging.
It's almost worth getting out of bed for, but not quite.
Sadly the call of real life and reesponsibilities does that instead.

The main purpose of this blog is to provide a scratch pad for stories and ideas that come up around my OU Creative writing course.

More later....
